A leading Astronomer who previously helped NASA in the search for alien life, now fears we’ve made a grave mistake. It was Frank Drake who once designed a map that would help alien beings find Earth, which were blasted out into deep space on NASA crafts, that we all know as Voyager 1 and Voyager 2.
Aliens which could be over a million years ahead of our technology could wipe out mankind in seconds if they were to invade our tiny little planet, however this aside, they haven’t caused us any harm yet – just more elite fear mongering?!
The Voyager probes charts our position in relation to 14 pulsars, the fast-spinning corpses of exploded stars which last for millions and millions of years – basically should any ET Beings ever find the NASA probes that carry the maps, Voyager 1 and Voyager 2, they would be able to find our sun and therefore Earth quite easily!
Top scientists now fear that whatever or whoever finds the probes could potentially be hostile – and they will have pretty much perfect instructions on how to find us.
Lets not forget that it wasn’t that long ago that we discovered that ‘something’ may have taken over one of the probes and sent a message back to us – please check out below article that we originally did on this:
It’s pretty intriguing to now think that what with the recent discoveries about how many potential habitable planets there are just in the Milky way, it makes you wonder exactly when will somebody pick up on one of earths probes!
“All the people I dealt with where optimists, and they thought the ETs would be friendly,” Mr Drake said.
“Nobody thought, even for a few seconds, about whether this might be a dangerous thing to do.”
Now here is two VERY interesting facts:
- Voyager 1 has already passed into interstellar space – further than anything in history.
- While Voyager 2 is passing through the heliosheath, after which it too will be in interstellar space.
These two probes are incredibly far away from planet earth, which makes one ponder about what exactly have they witnessed out there!?
When they were first launched nobody actually thought about not making contact, Kathryn Denning of York University in Canada told National Geographic.
“Back when Drake did the pulsar map… there hadn’t been very much debate over the pros and cons of contact with extraterrestrial intelligence.”
“Now, however, there is a major debate among scientists and a variety of stakeholders about the wisdom of doing anything other than listening.”
But let’s be honest about the situation, if any particularly nasty ET’s have already discovered these probes, I am pretty sure we would already know about it!
But our good old can’t make his mind up whether the ET’s are bad or not, Dr Stephen Hawking has warned that if we eve did meet aliens, like from a planet like Gliese 832c, we should keep quiet. However, if the ET’s were advanced they would probably already know about our presence!
Mr Hawking went on to say:
“One day, we might receive a signal from a planet like this, but we should be wary of answering back,” he said.
“Meeting an advanced civilisation could be like Native Americans encountering Columbus. That didn’t turn out so well.”
Stephen said they could be “rapacious marauders roaming the cosmos in search of resources to plunder, and planets to conquer and colonise”.
Forever the jovial one our Stephen, interesting how he’s investing millions into an alien hunting project – please see below article on this:
Since the Voyager probes have been first launched, many people have questioned whether or not it was a wise thing to do! But lets put a bit of a reality on this situation – specific ET races have already found us without probably coming across the two Voyager probes!
Perhaps these two probes are like a welcome call for help to any ET’s out there who may stumble across them. It appears that what with the recent news about a potential message being sent back by one of the probes – could this be yet just more fear mongering by the elite or do they know something that we do not!?
