Conspiracy theorists go wild after 20-year-old spaceship suffers “temperature spike” and goes KABOOM….some are saying laser weapons whilst others are saying “Aliens” destroyed this military satellite!?
A 20-year-old aging American military weather satellite has exploded in orbit following a mysterious and unexplained “catastrophic event” which has left US military advisors scratching their heads!
The satellite broke into 43 pieces after suddenly exploding on February 27, of which the 43 pieces STILL remain in Orbit which could create a risk for any future space missions (a bit like the film Gravity).
It was launched in 1995 and was the oldest active weather-monitoring craft in the American space fleet.
The US Air Force said it suffered “a sudden spike in temperature” and then an “unrecoverable loss of attitude control” before blowing up.
The satellite is called Defence Meteorological Satellite Program Flight 13 and is actually the second weather satellite to explode in orbit.
In April 2004, a satellite called DMSP-F11 suffered a similarly dramatic fate.
However, unlike the more recent satellite, this craft was not in active use when it shattered into 56 pieces.
The US Air Force has six other weather satellites in space. It insisted the explosion would have little effect on operations.
“Because this satellite was no longer used by the National Weather Service or the Air Force Weather Agency, the impact of the loss of this satellite is minimal,” the Air Force said. (no longer required could mean ‘ideal for some target practise?!).

In the absence of a suitably exciting official explanation, the online conspiracy world has gone wild trying to explain the explosion.
Some people think the US Government decided to test a top secret satellite-killing laser weapon, suggesting the mysterious temperature spike indicates the craft had been blown up on purpose. Perhaps to be used to defend against the Russians, or Aliens!
Others said China or Russia was behind the the incident, although it is unclear why these two countries would risk war by wrecking a knackered old spacecraft.
Whilst other people have stated that ALIENS could of destroyed this satellite, giving a warning shot to the Human race and demanding that the world leaders tell the rest of the Human Race about their existence! A number of unusual UFO’s have been seen in space recently, one of which is in the Video below, which shows a moon size UFO next to the Sun

This is a very interesting event, one which prompted the US military to reply with a particularly ‘dramatic’ response very quickly.
The fact that the military are stating that before they lost signal to the satellite, the spacecraft suffered from a severe “spike in Temperature” gets the mind thinking somewhat! Perhaps this ‘surplus to requirement’ satellite was used for a bit of target practise using new ‘laser’ technology, which would explain the extreme temperature rise!
The intriguing thing about this event is that the majority of us know how many UFO’s are up there in the sky, so who knows could this of been a warning shot from earth showing that we can defend ourselves from an ‘outside’ attack on earth…..or as farfetched as it seems, could this be the ET’s warning to the word leaders, showing how easily the can destroy us….The way things are going nowadays Science Fiction is very much becoming Science FACT so nothing would surprise me nowadays!
