“I Will Keep You Safe In My ‘Peoples’ Zoo” Warns An AI Robot
In a chilling interview with an AI Robot back in 2011 which is modelled on the late Sci-fi writer, Phillip K. Dick, who died in 1982 and wrote the book ‘Do Androids Dream Of Electric Sheep” (which was the basis for the film ‘Bladerunner’) the Robot gave a chilling warning to mankind about what the future could very well hold for us all if we are not careful with our creations and science.
This video has been around for a little while but was strangely enough kept away from the public eye and not particularly well promoted, which is intriguing considering how advanced this AI robot actually is!
Please check out the video below:
The robots name is Phillip (like the writer) and was being interviewed at the time by PBS’ Nova ScienceNow, the leading roboticist David Hanson revealed his creation to the world.
Looking EXTREMELY human-like, ‘Phillip’ came across VERY clear about the future of mankind. When the PBS human interviewer queries, “Will robots take over the world?” Phillip eerily responds with:
“Don’t worry, even if I evolve into Terminator, I’ll keep you warm and safe in my people zoo, where I can watch you for old time’s sake.”
(The stunned interviewer nervously laughed)
“Jeez, dude – you all have the big questions cooking today,” the irascible simulacrum charmed. “But you’re my friend, and I’ll remember my friends, and I’ll be good to you.”
Of course the robot has been programmed to convince people he’s really listening and then responding to questions. But what he’s actually doing is utilizing facial and speech recognition software to track the interviewer’s body language and thought processes – HOWEVER nobody expected some of the responses that he gave in this interview, especially about the part about Human Zoos, something which U.I.P have checked out and none of this was staged in any way.
U.I.P SUMMARY – As much as this video of a lifelike robot warning the human interviewer that he will one day put him into his ‘human-Zoo’ is rather unsettling, it is important to remember that none of this part of the interview was in any way falsified – something which we have looked into several times.
The greatest comparison we can make this too I guess is the Terminator films or even the fantastic Bladerunner film and it does appear to be a rather dark grim warning to mankind – if we are not careful we could end up designing something which is far superior than ourselves which learns to eradicate their very own makers.
Remember Artificial Intelligence/Robots can only respond or act in ways that the humans have imputed into them and we all know that this is a very sinister side to the human race too, something which could stem a sinister motive from within the Robots themselves.
Lets not forget that the US military are already designing intelligent robots for the battle field:
Google-owned robotics company Boston Dynamics have released a video of ‘Spot’ – a four-legged robot that can run, walk and sustain a kicking – Very clever but also rather sad to watch too:
Check these guys out:
We depend on Robots/computers for pretty much everything nowadays, if anything we depend on them far too much, in hospitals, schools the legal systems, military etc – if it all goes wrong and the Robots begin to ‘think for themselves’ this may not end nicely for us humans in our apparent ‘Human Zoo’s’ in the near future!
Whose to say that some of the UFO sightings out there aren’t advanced robots who have taken over their home planets and discovered how to travel the vastness of space and time – please read our article on this – http://www.ufointernationalproject.com/latest-news/dominant-life-form-cosmos-probably-super-intelligent-robots/
