It’s all about the Money?
So MUFON have recently confirmed in the media that they are looking to release a Database with all of the sightings in the world, to track who is seeing what where?!
See UIP does not have a problem with this, however, we DO have a problem with the fact that MUFON have been collecting hundreds of thousands of sighting details from all over the world over the last so many years, so WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO THE OLD DATABASE? (I think we all know where that information has gone).
You do not have to do much digging around in order to see a link between MUFON and the Multi Billionaire real estate investor and entrepreneur Robert Bigelow of Las Vegas, Nevada! Bigelow has apparently invested an impressive amount of money into MUFON in order to find valuable new knowledge about Alien propulsion systems. Bigelow who has long been known to give millions of dollars to fund serious UFO research has just concluded a deal with MUFON to furnish rapid response teams of Field Investigators to be deployed within 24 hours to the scene of a major UFO event, the kind designated as Category 2 or 3 in the classification system devised by legendary UFO researcher Jacques Vallee. These are the rarer cases where either physical traces are left or physiological effects are caused in the witness.
Bigelow has hired 50 top-flight scientists to assist MUFON in this endeavour to function as consultants and to do expensive lab analysis of alien materials gathered at the location of a UFO event. Bigelow, who never does anything on a small scale, a few years ago founded BAASS (Bigelow Aerospace Advanced Space Studies) with the incredibly ambitious goal of putting a commercial hotel up in orbit around the earth. He thinks that even one category 2 or 3 case if properly investigated can yield significant scientific pay dirt. Whatever high-tech equipment needed by the investigators on the scene will be drop-shipped to them overnight by BAASS. These high-profile cases will be investigated using the strictest methods of scientific protocol. This was a new day for MUFON who saw the money sign in their eyes, which from its inception has been a volunteer organization. Now its Field Investigators will be paid to do their work…

And Bigelow possibly will get what he wants to forward his goal.

So if you are one of the ‘hundreds of thousands’ who have been ignored or patronised by MUFON, the chances are your sighting is in ‘their’ eyes not worth investigating and makes no money for them! (I was once ignored by them too after a sarcastic email sent back from them).

The Field Investigators are VOLUNTEER and get absolutely NO money from MUFON to do their work. They even charge them $100 for their training material, and they have to pay annual dues to remain a member on top of that.
Every state has Field Investigators spread out so that rarely do you have to travel more than 100-150 miles. They expect you to do it out of dedication to the cause. They also encourage you to do as many ‘investigations’ over the phone and via email as possible. This is exactly why you hear so many people complain that MUFON did not take them seriously or were rude to them. We all know how insistent people can get, especially when they are excited or even scared. When a Field Investigator just doesn’t have time, or simply can’t afford, to make a trip out to them, they don’t take kindly to it. MUFON does have Star Teams who are rapid response investigators who I am sure are paid employees and transportation is provided for them. They respond to high priority events that are happening now or just happened. They say there are multiple teams, but I doubt there is more than one. Exactly where the money goes is beyond me, but the guys in the trenches aren’t getting any of it.

Mufon left a really bad taste in my mouth a couple years ago & for good reason.Yes they are about taking your money & no they will not help you like you are led to believe on their website.I paid $ hoping to be a field investigator & to gain knowledge about the light orbs that was passing over my home.All I got was an insult to my intelligence.Apparently the planet venus & the ISS flys 200 – 500 ft above the ground.Now maybe i’m judging Mufon as a whole based on my state’s chapter but I’ve heard stories of the same for other states too.Best thing anyone can do is investigate on your own & take photos & film your ufo sightings & compare with others.
