The Rich ‘Elite’ To Become Immortal ‘God-Like’ Cyborgs Within 200 years
It really could become THEM and us!
Like the kind of stuff made from a Sci-Fi film, a leading Historian sees a future when the rich use technology to outlive death….outlive the rest of Humanity!
The Historian has claimed that the Rich people living 200 years from now are more than likely to become “god-like” immortal cyborgs, while the rest of the poor people will die out.
Yuval Noah Harari,a top professor at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, , has said that the merger of humans and machines would be the greatest evolution since the appearance of life on earth!

The leading professor added “the greatest minds in computer engineering already believe death is a mere technological problem with a solution”….something which actually sounds very egotistical and patronising of Mother Nature!
Harari stated that with the vast advances in technology over the coming years it will enable humans to become ‘god-like creatures’, as different from today’s humans as chimpanzees are from us. The rich already see death as an obstacle in the way of their vast earnings and riches.
The historian is author of the acclaimed ‘Sapiens: A Brief History of Human Kind’, a book which has already been translated into more than 30 languages. Harari was speaking at the Hay Festival of Literature & Arts in Wales, one of the UK’s most prominent cultural events.
During Harari’s lively talk, Harari said that all humans are genetically programmed to be dissatisfied in life. Even when a humans gain pleasure and achievements, they always lust for more. Greed has always gone hand in hand with mankind, but the big question is, will it be our downfall as a species?!

“I think it is likely in the next 200 years or so Homo sapiens will upgrade themselves into some idea of a divine being, either through biological manipulation or genetic engineering of by the creation of cyborgs, part organic part non-organic,” he told the audience.
“It will be the greatest evolution in biology since the appearance of life. Nothing really has changed in four billion years biologically speaking. But we will be as different from today’s humans as chimps are now from us.”
Harari has controversially stated that only the wealthiest and most successful people in the world would benefit from this potential ‘cyborg’ technology, making the gap between rich and poor in society even wider and far more daunting! It sounds like something from a film, but fact could very soon be about to become FICTION!?
Just Imagine a world where the future rich become immortal, whilst the poor are left to die out, he said.
Harari’s book argues that humans are successful as a species because of their imagination and ability to create fictions.
He cites religion, money and the concept of human rights as “fictions” which hold society together but have no basis in nature.
Speaking at Hay, the Historian shocked the crowd with some rather alarming thought provoking thoughts:
“God is extremely important because without religious myth you can’t create society. Religion is the most important invention of humans. As long as humans believed they relied more and more on these gods they were controllable.
“But what we see in the last few centuries is humans becoming more powerful and they no longer need the crutches of the gods. Now we are saying we do not need God, just technology.
“The most interesting place in the world from a religious perspective is not the Middle East, it’s Silicon Valley where they are developing a techno-religion. They believe even death is just a technological problem to be solved,” he added.

What a very creepy story hey people!?!? It really does sound like some kind of Scifi film doesn’t it! If this comes true then I can only say that I will be glad to not be around to witness such a sinister divide in Humanity.
Obviously, we all need to take Harari’s predictions with a pinch of salt, but while they sound more suited to science fiction than real life, they’re not actually that out-there really, if you truly think about this potential situation. A lot of leading researchers believe that the Human Race has already started down the path towards some kind of a cyborg future; as many of us already rely on bionic eyes and ears, insulin pump technology and prosthetics to help us stay alive for longer. Think about David Rockefeller, one of the richest men in the world, a man whom many believe is the leader of the supposed ‘Elite Cult’ the Illuminati, he is now on his SIXTH heart transplant at the age of 99 years old…clearly not wanting to let go of his riches anytime soon! (a Cyborg in the making!?)

Now with researchers and scientists very recently learning how to send people’s actual thoughts through across the web, subconsciously control bionic limbs and use liquid metal to heal severed nerves, it’s not hard to imagine how we could continue to use technology to supplement our vulnerable human bodies further…..our bodies are aging but technology is growing in advancement!
Very interestingly the Historians comments came not long after a UK-based neuroscientist Hannah Critchlow from Cambridge University got the Internet excited by stating publically that it could soon be possible to upload our brains into computers, if we could build computers with at least 100 trillion circuit connections.
“People could probably live inside a machine. Potentially, I think it is definitely a possibility,” Critchlow said during her presentation at the festival.
Harari and other leading researchers have warned the public that these robotic upgrades will only ever be available to the wealthiest members of society, which in turn could cause a growing biological divide between the rich and the poorer people of this world! Just imagine how it is deemed if people can choose to survive whilst the rest of the world dies around them!?
If all of this sounds extremely depressing, I guess the over extreme alternative is a future where instead of the Human Race taking advantage of the state of the art technology, the technology takes advantage of us, and artificial intelligence poses a threat to our very own survival as species, as stated by many leading figures, including; as Elon Musk, Stephen Hawking, and Bill Gates have all predicted.
No matter what happens in the future one thing seems very clear to us guys here at U.I.P ~ our future ahead of us as a species is now entwined with the technology that we have created….for better or for the far worse!
